Christmas is...

Christmas is opening presents.

Christmas is eating candy out of our stockings.

Christmas is playing with toys from Santa.

Christmas is happiness!

This Christmas was very special for us. Spending the day with Becca was amazing. It made the day so much more magical.
Christmas morning started by waking Becca up and eating breakfast. GG, Grandmomma, PaPaw, and Uncle Travis came over to watch Becca open her gifts from Santa.

Becca got A LOT of new stuff! Santa left her a V-Tech Alphabet Train, a ball popper, an elephant shape sorter, a Playskool Pop Up Pals, a piano, a See-N-Say, several new outfits, and LOTS of books!
After playing with her new toys, she went through all of her goodies in her stocking. Santa left her good stuff in their too. She got new pacis, paci clips, a new cup,2 raspberry teethers, 3 new bibs, & new hairbows.

And let's not forget the dogs. Even though they have taken a backseat to Becca, we still love them and they are a major part of our family!
Santa didn't forget them either, and they enjoyed digging into their stockings too!

After all of the morning excitement, it was nap time! We had the next few hours to relax and get ready for the family to come over.
Once everyone got to our house, it was total chaos - I mean that in the best way possible!
There was a lot of food, fun, & family, and Becca had a great time!

She got to play with her cousins, Bryson & Blakley. She absolutely adores them.

Dinner was running a little behind schedule, so we took advantage of the extra time and decided to go ahead & open the presents!
It was so much fun, and every bit as crazy as it looked!

After gifts, it was time to eat! We had a delicious meal that consisted of turkey, ham, macaroni, green beans, sweet potato casserole, broccoli casserole, stuffing, and probably some other things I've forgotten about.
Christmas day also happens to be my birthday, so after we ate, we had my birthday cake.
Everyone sang to me, and Becca really enjoyed that part! I think she thought everyone was singing to her! It was too cute:) She definitely made it the best birthday yet!

Check out that cake - my mom had it made, and it was delicous!

Several times throughout the day I looked around and couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with all of the blessings in my life.

Especially this blessing...

who we are thankful for everyday!
